Come and Make a Medicine Wheel!
The Medicine Wheel, also known as The Sacred Hope, has already been used by generations of various types of American Indian tribes for health and healing. It shows the four elements of air, earth, water and fire and the four directions north, east, south and west. These symbolize and are all about health and the life cycle. For the American Indians, we are all a spark (a spirit) of the Great Spirit, just like the animals, plants and stones. Our physical body is the mode of transport of our Spirit, in order to gain experiences from which lessons can be learned, to become ever wiser. The medicine wheel can help us with this. The medicine wheel symbolizes, as it were, our path of life. Join the workshop where you will make the medicine wheel yourself under the guidance of Patricia Athena, Shamanic and Sacred Geometry Facilitator from Australia. This is a first step towards the creation of Greenfields, a self-sustaining sanctuary for people, animals and wildlife. A safe harbor is being created in Geffen. (next to Oss). The workshop is given in the English language and translated into Dutch.
